THE MEETING

Growth Group Announcements

  • Discuss Plans for the Fall & Next Week – Next week is the last meeting of the quarter.  Find out from your group if they know their plans for being part of the group in the Fall.  They can indicate their plans on the feedback forms. Also, let us know of any roster updates or changes that you know of to your meeting day, time or location for the Fall Quarter when you submit your attendance.
  • Feedback Forms - Have your group fill out their feedback forms this week or next week (they were mailed to your meeting location).  Let them know how important their honest feedback is for you as leaders and hosts.  Make sure you allow plenty of time to complete the forms.  Collect them at the end of the meeting, and review them with your host.  Turn them in to the Growth Group drop box on any of our campuses or mail them to the Church office.  We need them turned in by June 3, so we can start forming Fall groups.
  • New Fall Growth Group Leaders - Let your group know you will be praying that we can raise up new leaders and hosts for new Growth Groups in the Fall.

Begin to Finalize Plans for the Fall

Next week is the last meeting of the quarter.  Find out from your group if they know their plans for being part of the group in the Fall.  They can indicate their plans on the feedback forms. Also, let us know of any roster updates or changes to your meeting day, time or location that you know of for the Fall Quarter when you submit your attendance.

Raising up new Leaders and Groups

Let your group know you will be praying that we can raise up new leaders and hosts for new Growth Groups in the Fall. Also, please consider the  following ways to launch new groups and raise up new leaders within your group.

  1. Your Leader Associate can spin off a new group of their own. This creates ONE new group.
  2. You spin off a new group of your own. Your Leader Associate leads the   original group. This creates ONE new group.
  3. You and your Leader Associate spin off new groups, while each keeps   some members from the original group.  This creates TWO groups.
  4. You, your Leader Associate and your Host spin off their own groups, each keeping some of the members of the original group. This creates openings in THREE new groups.

New Leaders & Hosts Recommendations for the Fall

If you have not already done so, please let your Station-in-Life Pastor know of any potential leaders/hosts for the fall. You can do this online here.

Spring Feedback Forms

Feedback forms have been mailed to the location your group meets. Please hand them out to your group this week or next week and turn them in no later than June 3.  The last week of the Spring quarter is May 27-June 2. Feedback forms are available online here.
